Good Day, Â I Am Writing You From Bosnia

Question: Good day,  I am writing you from Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have a son 19 months old with undiagnosed issues, we suppose in a digestive system. After all physical tests: 24 hour ph-testing showed 205 reflux episodes at age of 10 months which medicine proclaimed it is not reflux, but in that period he had clear symptoms which showed he has some problem; then ultrasound performed with milk drinking while child were sleeping showed that he has reflux, it has been seen 5 reflux episodes in 2-3 minutes, then barium swallow (child were getting up during this test because I couldn't hold him strong enough) showed he doesnât have reflux, endoscopy which has results: cardia gapes, cardia and pylorus are on same level, MRI- clear, so medicine didn't find problem with our child and they discharged us home. What can I say about his problems/behaviour. He is arching his back while he sleeps and wiggling trying to find corresponding position, then he wakes up, and burps, I can see he swallows when he stands up, he donât gain weight well, he has now 10.5 kgs, 19 months old, there were period he gained 300 grams for 5 months (in period he was 5 months old, lasting till he was 10 months old), this summer he gained nothing for 2 months. Many exams for reflux were done, some showed no reflux, some showed there is reflux, but anti-reflux medicine didn't help at all. Since he was born he acts like this, he couldnât sleep, he cried all the time, he couldnât be laid down till he was 1 year old, he couldnât sit, when he was sitting he also started to cry, to wave with his hands to lift him, when I would lift him up, he would want to lay down again and he would start wiggling on the bed nervously what lasts also today; he wiggles a lot while he sleeps, and he sleeps on his knees and moves up-down searching corresponding position. He had plenty of symptoms including coughing, burping in a huge amount, dark, smelly stools, arching and so on... Symptoms he has now also is very loud stomach after eating liquids, when I move him, it can be heard that this liquid is overflowing in stomach with very strange sound. I noticed that 1 year ago. I have many video to show how he behaves. During the day he looks now almost normal, he has some accelerated actions, which were more expressed when he was crawling or even before when he couldnât do many moves by himself. I think then he has pain when he is accelerated, what could be more seen over the night.  We are looking for help for our child... We don't find any solution more, but we are convinced that he suffers from unknown cause of pain. Maybe he has lack of some cells, enzymes or something, I donât know anything anymore, I only know that he has a problem for sure.  Is there any way that You are able to help us? Thank You in advance. I have gone through your detailed query but am not sure what exactly you seek to know. I would request you to enumerate them one by one.
Going by the description, your child probably has Sandifer syndrome which is triggered by acid reflux.
